Douglas A. Cooksey is a Tallahassee native and graduate of Leon High School and the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). He is a Certified Residential Appraiser in the State of Florida and Georgia. He specializes in full service residential properties for refinancing, foreclosure, mortgage financing, pre-purchasing and pre-listings, and land and estate settlements. As well as a residential appraiser, he is a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida. Over his 30+ years in construction in the North Florida Area, he has built banks, schools, restaurants, libraries, office buildings, and custom homes. This knowledge is used during every consultation and allows him to help clients make the best decisions about building, buying, and refinancing.
Doug’s main office is located in Leon County with a satellite office in Gulf County. This allows him to cover the North Florida Area easily and it keeps him knowledgeable about the current market area.
Doug also works with several realtors, lenders, property owners, and other appraisers within the Big Bend Area of North Florida and South Georgia.
